Got knots? This technique loosens tight areas to work out tension and pain. While this technique focuses attention on problem areas, we always strive to stay within your comfort level. We encourage clear communication with your therapist to ensure a relaxing and restorative session.
Target chronic pain, injuries, and muscle and joint pain with therapeutic massage. Techniques include myofascial release, sports massage, orthopedic massage, and exercise or postural coaching where appropriate. We work hard to address the source of your pain.
This method releases the connective tissues of the body for increased mobility and reduced pain. When fascia is restricted, movement and posture are affected. Myofascial release helps free up movement patterns and change postural imbalances. Read through our bios to find a therapist specializing in this massage modality.
Is a persistent injury limiting your active lifestyle? Whether you’re training for a big race or a nature-lover who just likes to get out and move, this modality can help to increase blood flow, prevent injury, and boost performance so you maintain the level of activity that helps you thrive.
Our highly trained therapists work hard to get at the root cause of your pain. Musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, headaches, carpal tunnel, tendonitis, strains, and sprains, as well as injuries like whiplash, can all be effectively treated using massage therapy. Massage has been proven to be a viable alternative to pain medications and can create lasting changes in the body increasing long-term mobility and comfort.
Cupping has been in use since ancient times and has many benefits for our clients. We use silicone cups to create a suction on the soft tissues of the body. Cupping decompresses tissues three dimensionally in a way no other massage technique can. This helps release broad fascial restrictions, frees up nerves, brings localized circulation to the area, softens scar tissue, releases knots or locked down areas and increases range of motion in joints. While cupping can leave a darkened circle, particularly in the back, hip and neck areas, it is not a bruise or damage to the skin, simply a marker of the increased circulation to the area. Most marks will fade and disappear within a week.
Feeling frantic or frazzled? Take a break from the daily grind and allow your system some downtime to disconnect and rejuvenate. This modality will leave you feeling like a whole new person.
Firm pressure and the long, soothing strokes associated with this modality induce a deep state of relaxation and encourage increased blood and lymphatic fluid flow. This style is great for stress relief and support for people who lead busy lives.
A relaxing, pampering experience for mama and baby. This modality relieves the aches and pains many women experience during pregnancy with gentle, nurturing strokes. Prenatal massage can also reduce stress, improve sleep, support mood issues, and encourage increased blood circulation. We offer a prenatal cushion to make sure mamas feel completely supported and comfortable during their sessions.
